Claim Jumper Ready to Open at Yorktown Center

LOMBARD, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 4, 2006--The finishing touches are being put on the interior and exterior, and training is moving right along in preparation of the January 9th Grand Opening of the Claim Jumper Restaurant at Yorktown Center in Lombard. The new Claim Jumper will be the first of three Chicago area restaurants. Locations in Wheeling and Hoffman Estates are scheduled to open later this year.

Open daily for lunch and dinner, Claim Jumper offers an extensive selection of American favorites prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. They have developed a broad - based, loyal following that includes families, children, seniors and business professionals. The restaurant has a strong regional based brand with 36 current locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada and Washington. Lombard will be the home to the company's first Midwest location, a move that will help make the company a nationally - recognized brand.

The Claim Jumper will be located in a new area of Yorktown Center known as The Shops on Butterfield, a lifestyle center that will be home to well - recognized national, regional and local specialty retailers, restaurants, hotels and entertainment venues. The restaurant will employ 160 individuals from Lombard and the surrounding area.

The restaurant will host a special pre-opening VIP evening to benefit the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago on Saturday evening, January 7, 2006. The evening will include complimentary wine and selections from the Claim Jumper menu. In order to make this a successful event, members of Claim Jumper's management team have worked hand-in-hand with Lori Chana, President of the Clarendon Hills Auxiliary Chapter of the Infant Welfare Society. "Our goal is to raise awareness about a great organization, the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago, and to raise funds to help support the programs they provide," said Craig Leedom, Claim Jumper General Manager. Ms. Chana added, "The Infant Welfare Society of Chicago, along with several of our Auxiliary chapters, are very excited to be partnering with Claim Jumper.
